DROVE Cristal

This is the base product produced in the distillery. It is 100% blue Weber agave. It is organic and non-GMO. The nectar is imported from the Jalisco area of Mexico. It includes both highlands and lowlands nectar. The taste of those regions is obvious with the forward flavor as opposed to the finish. No sugar or artificial colors are added. Highland agave has a sweeter taste while the lowlands have an earthier taste.

WHD Whiskey 90 (Bourbon)

Silver Award Winner at San Francisco International Spirits Competition

This whiskey is distilled in Tennessee using a WHD recipe. This sour mash whiskey bill includes corn, rye, and barley. It is barreled in a new white American oak #3 char barrel for 4 to 6 months. Afterward, it is transferred to a second new white American Oak barrel. The unique #2 char barrel is also medium toasted and rests for an additional 6 weeks. Since the second barrel is unique (nontraditional), it has cross cuts and honeycombs inside the barrel itself. It provides a straight whiskey flavor without the typical age time in a traditional barrel.

WHD Rye 90 Whiskey Single Barrel

WHD Straight Rye Whiskey 90 Proof – This is straight rye whiskey is distilled in Indiana. It is 95% rye and 5% barley. It was introduced in September of 2021, and single-barreled. It is about 3.5 years old. It is one of the most popular products sold at the distillery since its introduction. Great in a Manhattan or Old Fashioned.

WHD Rye Barrel Strength

WHD Straight Rye Whiskey Barrel Strength is over 116 Proof – This is the same as the 90 proof version except it is straight from the barrel. It is the proof of the barrel once decanted. Those who want a bit of ‘heat’ and the spiciness expected from rye will enjoy this hearty spirit. It does not disappoint since it finishes with caramel and toffee sweetness from the barrel. Enjoy this rye over a large cube. It does not need anything more.

Leveret (Small Batch Gin)

The best stories begin in a bar and this gin’s tale is no different. From a chance meeting to a budding friendship that not only survived but flourished during the pandemic, Leveret’s journey began as a casual conversation after hours in Wild Hare Distillery’s tasting room. A joke about distillery partner Lisa Hunter’s pet rabbit acting as the business’s mascot, a genuine inquiry regarding what other spirits owners Wendy and Jim considered branching out to, and suddenly the seeds of a project that would span four years were planted.

Over 30 botanicals were sampled and carefully explored, each experimental combination appraised and tweaked until we landed on a recipe that reflected the journey itself: a vibrantly new beginning that carries steadily through the middle before finishing off with a celebratory brightness at the end.
