With a heightened awareness of the changes occurring in the world, WHD does its best to improve the environment. By recycling the chill water used for the stills that produce our 100% Blue Weber agave spirit, DROVE, very little water is wasted during the production process. The 1,000-gallon water tank preserves water that would normally go right down the drain. The electric steam generator uses minimal electric to heat the wash to distill saving on electrical drain common in the warmer months.

Wild Hare Distillery is a small-batch producer of spirits. When you visit our distillery and tasting room, Wendy or Jim will walk you through our award-winning products.

The tasting itself is an experience that takes time. You are encouraged to savor the distinct flavors slowly. Wendy can walk you through tasting spirits so you get the most out of your experience. The tasting room can accommodate 8 people. The distillery can accommodate up to 16.

Wild Hare Distillery is operated by Wendy & Jim. Reservations are strongly encouraged so we can create the best possible experience for your visit. Please contact us before visiting without a reservation to check availability.

SMALL GROUP / EVENT RESERVATIONS

Wild Hare Distillery is a small batch producer of DROVE and WHD Spirits.

The tasting itself is an experience that takes time. You are encouraged to savor the distinct flavors slowly. Wendy will walk you through how to taste the spirit and what compliments each so that you get the most out of your experience. The tasting room can accommodate 8 people. The distillery area can accommodate up to 16. We also have a separate suite available that can accommodate up to 16 people.

TASTING FAQ

  • Due to our small size, we have found it works best for everyone to text or call and make a reservation to visit. Typically, it is easy to pop in if you call to make sure we have space for you and your party; however, we are not always at the distillery, so we may not have the doors open if you swing by. Hours are updated weekly on our Google Business page. Please text/call 602.402.2329, so we can easily accommodate your group.

  • Yes! We always encourage all guests to designate someone for drop off & pick-up or arrange for car service. We want you to have fun when visiting and get to your next destination safely. Remember, all WHD spirits in the distillery are 80 proof and higher. Our distillery is centrally located in Tempe and only minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport.

  • We do! In fact, most guests enjoy a cocktail prior to the tour as they settle in & visit with one another.

  • Yes. All products produced are available for sale at the distillery. A list of locations that serve and sell our products is also on the website.

  • Yes. Please contact wendy@wildharedistillery.com for details. The room can accommodate 8 people. For a fee, we offer the room for 3 hours with a 2-drink minimum or 1 tasting and tour per person. We can set up a table for your group. If you wish to bring in food or have it delivered, there is a fee for set-up and breakdown of food for groups.

  • We offer a flight of 6 products for $20. Each product over 6 is $2 each. (Prices subject to change.)

  • Please allow 2 hours for your visit. Text, call or email to reserve. All reservations guarantee service and seating. We are very small with limited staff. Quality service is important. In order to provide the best experience, please reserve with a 2 hour window to visit. Our hours are posted on Wild Hare's Google Business page.
